I Love A Good Challenge

As a busy Mom and culinary student, I don't really make a lot of time to have a sit-down lunch. Sadly, my routine is to grab something out of a nearby vending machine(Dr. Pepper and something sweet or salty depending on the mood), or starving until dinner time which is never good. So, I thought this challenge would be the perfect opportunity to take a step back to the good old days when Mom made your lunch each day and sugar and fat were not main items in the bag.

The brown bag is nostalgic, practical and it can be recycled(which is always great). So, for the next 30 days EVERYONE in my family will be taking their lunches to work and school. I will post pictures and recipes and dispense helpful tips along the way...Who knows, there may even be a giveaway before it's all over.

The idea is to show that brown bagging has never been more healthy. When we take the time to prepare our own meals we stay in control of what goes into our bodies and in control of our health.
